This was one of the highlights of one of my conversations with Madhur. According to his dad, a belt with only one hole is symbolic of an ideal lifestyle.And since hearing this anecdote, i find that i agree with it wholeheartedly. To me, it signifies several things.
One, to have such a belt, a person has to be not only sure about his waist size, but happy about it too.
Two, he must have the confidence that he will always maintain himself, and not be the kind of person to give in to temptations.
Three, such a person doesn't believe in sharing possesions. He likes everything in a certain way, and takes pride in the smallest details of his life.
In other words, it shows discipline.
