Letters

I - am a letter
A syllable. A sound.
I have no meaning, yet there's no meaning without me.
But when I get together
With another friendly letter,
I find there is a whole new depth about me.

We - once used to be
Just two letters. U and me.
But now, we are a part of something more.
Words! We hold the keys
To a world of possibilities
If only you find the word you're looking for .

An idea! Your word and mine
Could come together in a line;
Then let our lines join hands to form a thought.
And then perhaps, our thoughts can take
The shape of a poem that would make
Our world change in a way, our letters could have not .

Poetry - is more than just a word 
It's more than any poem you may have heard 
Its more than meter or rhyme. More than just language, by far.
We're all letters; and in our own way,
We all have something we're trying to say;
Poetry is the unconditional expression of who we are .

Our world is a chaotic place.
Not every letter has found its space.
Some are lost in translation. Others have run into dots.
Some have decided, for better or worse,
To settle for being less than a perfect verse.
Others have tried too hard - rhymed themselves into knots.

But the world is a poem, at the end of the day
Every word has a role to play.
I could be your missing letter, and you could be mine.
Let's join hands, and perhaps we'll see
Together, We might just come to be
The missing word in our poem's final line.
