Dream, my friend.

Dream, my friend, dream.
However far-fetched it may seem.
For who knows where one step might lead,
The tallest tree was once a seed,
You could only fly if your wings are freed
To carry you in its stream.

Try, my friend, try.
Without over-thinking why.
Play the game for its own sake
Don't look for shortcuts you can take
The prize is there for you to stake,
Else, it too shall pass you by.

Pray, my friend. Pray.
For a few seconds of the day.
Because there are times when you will slip,
And your iron fist may lose its grip.
And if by chance, you should ever trip,
He will steady you on your way.

Smile, my friend, enjoy.
For these moments would never ever come by,
Just be yourself ,truly contented,
As life will take its own course as intended,
And by any chance,if anybody falls behind,
Be sure your helping hand would be the first to give somebody light!!!!

Such a beautiful flow to each line and stanza.

Also, much needed. Poetry, and advice.
Cheers!
