Departing from my usual detachment towards life in general, and cricket in particular..
Was that an awesome cricket match or what!!!
I thought Australia had us on the ropes there. After Mr.Sachin Tendulkar departed back to Heaven (or wherever God stays these days), I was fully expecting the Famous Indian Collapsing Act. But it didn't happen..
Though not for the lack of trying. Gautam Gambhir, for unknown reasons, was desperate to get back to the pavilion. Maybe he needed a loo-break. Maybe a girl in the audience flashed him. Either way, on four consecutive deliveries, he tried everything humanly possible to get himself run out. When it finally happened, it seemed more like mercy killing than anything else.
But hats off to the team, for pulling this off.
I dont care if it was fixed or not. Either we deserve the World Cup, or the Oscar, for such a realistic performance.

I being a cricket fan, i wud say tht match was out of the world, one thrilling and superb match, as u mentioned.. And it was totally because of our punjab da puttar, yuvi that we won.. For not having played soo well these years, he has proved his efficieny by getting the man of the match in almost every match..
Hats off to the Indian cricket team.. We do surely deserve the World cup, but lets c if we can put up a similar match with SA at the end and win.. All the best to the cricket team...
