The headlines in the last 2 months have been consistently and delightfully proving what we've always known; that every action and everyone in charge of actions in the public setup is corrupt. At times, the magnitude of the news makes me wonder if there is such a thing as too bad to be true. Surely, we cant be this clueless. Surely, noone can be this stupid. Spending 10 crores for a cycle that costs only 1 is outrageous, but to spend that much on a broken one..its almost like asking for it.
Closer to home, I'm thinking of laziness; and how it is the ugliest form of personal corruption there can be. Like the CWG, its a pointless thing. I just hope I have more moral fibre than the OC.
